My Journey through Weight Loss Surgery
I'm so sorry to hear this. I hope you find something else soon.Blessings,Sunshine
Oh AJ! Didn't you just move there for that job? Maybe this means that you can go where your guy is? At least that would be a positive, right?
Would you like me to go kick them for you? I totally will!
SON OF A @#$%!
First I'd like to say that I've been keeping up with your blog because I am having RNY in exactly two weeks and you've been a remarkable comfort to me (especially because we are nearly the same age and I, too, am a Midwestern girl - Missouri, to be exact... as well as a staunch Obama supporter.) I've been a silent observer to this point, but I just had to say how sorry I am about your job. There's no getting around the fact that being unemployed when you were not planning to be unemployed sucks, but you are clearly so very intelligent and resourceful and someone out there (despite the shambles of this economy) is going to be thrilled to snag you. In my personal experience, these things eventually turn out for the best - you end up getting another job that you love a lot more, or you make a move you wouldn't have otherwise. And for f*ck's sake, get thee to an unemployment office! -Sarah
Aw, man! But now you're free as a bird... you can do whatever you like!
Same thing recently happend to me. I worked for the bank that didn't get the buyout? Not fun..is it? You will be okay girl. You are smart, slender and sassy! :) Good luck.
Hello-- I came upon your site when I googled "gastric bypass and postsecret." I have a similar experience with WLS blogged on my web. I even was "downsized" and wrote about it...uncanny. Would love to talk... Hang in there, sweetie! -Emily
