I am weak...

physically. I am noticing more and more lately that I do not have the strength I used to have. Opening jars is harder and harder, lifting things I normally could have done with ease is now laboring. Is this from weight loss or is this from RAPID weight loss?

Ever since I have noticed this change, I have focused on adding weight training to my cardio regime. Lets hope it helps. This weakness is not something that an almost compulsively independent girl likes very much! Asking for help really sucks.

In other areas of my life, things are going ok. Still miss my boy like crazy. But my parents visited this weekend and it was so nice to have company. next weekend will be a lonely one, but then the following weekend I will be in St Louis with my friends spending a weekend on a float trip on the river. I am very excited and can't wait to see all of my friends. I think staying busy is key to keeping the lonelys away.

Honestly, it's only going to get worse! I am amazed at what I can't do now b/c I'm so weak! Just keep lifting those weights to get that strength back! It's hard to believe being fat had what, one advantage?!? LOL...I'd rather be skinny and weak than fat and strong! Hey, my new motto! I'll have to remeber that everytime I try to do something and have to ask for help! :)

I can't open jars any more either! Maybe my local gym has a jar-opening class. :)

Are you eating enough? Are you taking the right vitamins? I've had gastric bypass on 5/20 and I have good days and bad days, but for the most part, I'm very happy I've had the procedure done. My only regret is that I didn't do it when I was 30! On a day I feel weak, I know it's cuz I've not eaten properly that day. But overall, I have more energy that I did before. Perhaps talking with your doctor would determine what's causing the weakness. All the power to you - I'm pulling for you!
